We’re passionate about empowering business decisions with equipment insights that are honest, accessible, and actionable. To do this, we listen and learn from customers and deliver powerful solutions that leverage data and technology.
In the past month, our engineering team debuted several exciting new features and product updates to Tractor Zoom Pro. Read on for the full summary of updates from November below.
Equipment Lists
User Groups & Standard Naming Conventions
Equipment Lists in Tractor Zoom Pro now include user groups permissions to help increase your efficiency and security, as well as introduce a more streamlined, individualized experience for you and your team.
By associating users with specific groups, administrators can control edit-access to Equipment Lists, ensuring that each user can only edit the lists assigned to their group. The structured approach enhances data security by limiting access only to authorized individuals.
Additionally, user groups simplify the management of Equipment List-related tasks, enabling users to focus on their specific lists or responsibilities within the system.
We’ve also introduced a
standard naming convention for Equipment Lists that helps streamline your inventory tracking process.
The new naming convention requires Client First Name, Last Name, and Address. Updating the names of pre-existing lists is not required today, but you will be prompted to re-name when you edit an existing list.
File Conversion
To allow you to work even more efficiently within Equipment Lists, we’ve enabled
File Conversions for PDF and CSV files. This replaces our previous Bulk Upload feature that required you to manually convert CSV files yourself.
The Tractor Zoom team will review the uploaded file and ensure data accuracy and completeness, which is part of our complimentary quality assurance process.
Inventory
Wholesale Marketplace Beta
In November, we also introduced a new feature within Tractor Zoom Pro Inventory – a beta Wholesale Marketplace.
While we work to continue bringing predictive and prescriptive insights on your pricing and inventory levels, we also want to provide you with a lever to take action on these data-driven insights and positively influence your inventory turn.
In the Beta Wholesale Marketplace, customers may add equipment from their inventory and request information from sellers on available lots listed.
As Wholesale Marketplace is in beta, we are seeking feedback to continue developing this feature as needed to effectively and efficiently wholesale equipment. Stay tuned for further announcements and ways the Wholesale Marketplace may help you drive business forward.
Market Trends
Supply & Demand Chart
When we’ve talked with customers about equipment supply and demand, we reference the existing Advertised by Month and Sold charts in Market Trends.
However, we realized there is a valuable opportunity to represent these two variables that influence each other together in one chart and still enable customers to dive into more data and detail with all of the charts and graphs still available in the product as needed.
